Why Sunglasses Should Be On The Christmas List

It seems like a strange thing to be saying but believe it or not the Christmas break could be a key time to wear the sunglasses when out and about. Why on earth does this happen?

Sunlight

It is hard to believe that through the misery of the clouds there are still harmful UV lights pushing on through. Just because it is cold on a sunny day it doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t as powerful so make sure that if the sun is out you are wearing those Sunglasses as they will really help you out. The best thing to do is that if it is sunny, just pop them on, then you know that you are safe.

How on earth can the sun come through and damage the eyes on a cold day?

Well the thing is, UV rays are actually invisible meaning there is no way you can tell if they are pushing through or not. Obviously you shouldn’t be wearing sunglasses if it is pouring down with rain but if it is a bit cloudy just take them with you anyway. The major problem is that the UV light will go into the eyes and start to cause a reaction in the tissue. Once this damage has been done there is no way it can be reversed which is why it is so important that you wear those Ray Ban Sunglasses.

• Eye Disease
• The sun can play a really big role in these diseases:
• Cataract
• Pteryguim
• Skin Cancer
• Age- Related Macular Degeneration

So as you can see it is certainly worth getting those sunglasses out. If you already where glasses then do not worry as you can get Prescription Sunglasses that are made for the sun!

To make sure that the eyes are fully protected this year have the sunglasses in your pocket in case it gets a bit sunny.
